2011
- 9/11 Ceremony
Ten years ago terrorists hit the the United States with a vengeance, To day we are here to pay tribute to the thousands of lives lost.
And also to pay tribute to the Police Departments ,Fire Departments, and first responders through out this great nation. And to pray for the many service men and women fighting for our country in foreign lands.
Ten years ago, the world as we knew it, came to a devastating halt. Some say time heals all wounds, but in this case, it left a scar so long that “forgive and forget” does not exist.
Americans are the greatest people in the world. When called upon, we never back down until the right has been wronged. And so it is with what happened that eventful day.
America has picked up the pieces and continues to rebuild what fell. Even those directly affected via loss of family, have somehow managed to hold their heads up high again, and look to the future, even though deep down they are still in pain.
As we came together to “Never Forget”, we also renewed a promise to always be there for each other, and always look to a future. The future that still holds our founding truths:
Faith in God, Courage, Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
