On Nov. 6, 2011, The American Legion Auxiliary of Post 927 held a Chinese Auction.

With the donations of many local vendors from the surrounding areas and into Wind Gap, as well as beautiful gifts handmade by some very talented members of the Legion and as far away as Brooklyn NY, there were a total of 179 gifts that were auctioned that day.  There were tickets sold for lollipops, which gave everyone a chance to win a small prize, enjoyed by each recipient. There was plenty of food available, from Hot dogs & homemade soup to many dessert choices, for a minimal charge.  Everyone who attended had a great day, and the Auxiliary had a very successful Auction.
